Using TeamTalk to stream to Icecast2 on Ubuntu

Hey folks!
I've done some research about this matter, but it's all confusing to me, as I'm not that quite good with Linux.
Here's what it's all about:

I have a ubuntu 16.04 server from Digital ocean. I've set up Teamtalk and Icecast2 as well on the same droplet.
I have been using another windows server to login to TeamTalk, and stream its output to icecast, due to my poor internet connection. That way, if my connection dropped, the live stream won't go down with it. That's on top of other perks, like having a co host with me.
I'm trying to get the same results using Ubuntu, that way I can manage everything from a single command line window, and I would cut down the costs as well.
I've read that there's a way to do this using jackd, pulse audio, and xpra (if my memory serves me right), but I'm not sure of the details, as I'm not that versed in Linux.
Awaiting your suggestions.
Sincerely,
Rockstorm.
